book/novel creation...insight, critique, needed

I am about ten chapters into a potential series of books that I would like to start getting others insights and ideas to help in the process.

The commissions posted in my gallery have been done from a few artists here on DA :iconlrcommissions:, :icondothaithanh:, :iconnathie:, :iconsicilianvalkyrie:,
and soon :icontaurina: while the writings are my own deviations. The pictures are depictions of my characters that will be in my story. I would love to make an even greater collection to the artwork that I already have commissioned. I want to make something unique to the fantasy genre, as you will see with my writing and with the artwork of characters.
I want to create new creatures, races, powers/magics than that which has already been done. I wish I was blessed with the rich gifts and talents of several of the artists on DA (unfortunately painting, drawing, digital art is not a strong point for me) It is such a thrill for me to see what artists will make of what details I give to them...to see my characters come to life.
